Justine Vanden Heuvel received her PhD from the University of Guelph in 2002, working with Helen Fisher at Vineland. Now an Associate Professor in Viticulture & Enology at Cornell University, her research focuses on how environmental and viticultural factors impact wine style and quality, soil health, vine growth, and fruit composition.
Damien Wilson is the inaugural Hamel Family Chair of Wine Business Education with Sonoma State University’s Wine Business Institute. Dr. Wilson arrived in California with 20 years of professional experience in the wine sector. This commercial experience facilitated the achievement of the first-ever Honors Degree in Wine Business, being one of his four degrees in the discipline of Wine Business.
