Ontario Wine Industry – Domestic

International Canadian Blends wines represent by volume 75% of all Ontario wine sold and account for more than 54% of the grape crop. VQA accounts for 25% of volume sales and 46% of the grape crop. The WGAO believes the industry has the opportunity to grow both VQA and International Canadian Blend (ICB) wines to increase overall share of market and demand for Ontario grapes.
